Casual rates apply $52.36 per hour plus 9.5% superannuation

Provide day to day radiography assistance across a range of animal related teaching and commercial activities including general radiography, fluoroscopy, CT and ultrasound.

The radiographer works as a member of the Veterinary Health Centre’s (VHC) professional staff services team of nurses, client services and technical staff members. The position provides services during business hours Monday to Friday supporting veterinarians requiring CT imaging and radiography for a range of small and large animal patients.

This casual position is available for 1 or 2 days per week to complement the existing part-time radiographer, with some additional days required at times throughout the year to cover periods of annual leave.

Human Radiographer skills are adaptable to veterinary species and appropriate support, induction and training will be provided. You will be surrounded by a supportive network of staff in an exciting professional workplace.

To be successful you will need:

• Extensive experience of Digital Radiography, Wireless DR, Computed Radiography, C-Arm fluoroscopy and 16 slice helical CT.
• Knowledge and experience of managing digital image archiving/PACS servers.
• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Demonstrated high level communication skills.
• Comfortable working around animals.
