The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.
Continuing, full time position available
Opportunity to provide student support in the delivery of student internship activities and build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including industry partners
Working under general direction, the Internships Officer coordinates and provides a range of administrative and student support functions that underpin the delivery of work integrated learning and internship activities and functions for the Faculty’s Coursework programs. The Internships Officer provides a range of professional support for the management of data, records and systems, including responding to queries and providing information, advice and support to students and academic staff. They will also deliver timely advice to industry providers, government and other stakeholders to support the delivery of internship activities and will contribute to the ongoing improvement of University systems and processes.
Some out of hours work may be required.
To be successful you will need:
- Well-developed experience taking responsibility for the efficient coordination and delivery of a range of student related and/or administrative functions, preferably in a higher education environment, including providing and ensuring the delivery of information, advice and reports.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills to prioritise and manage work and timelines with strong attention to detail.
- Developed interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a responsive manner to provide effective and responsive customer service.
- Demonstrated high level skills in the use of computers and computer software, including standard MS Office applications and student and records management systems.
