The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.
Fixed-term position available commencing immediately for 12 months
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Coordinator
Working under general direction, the Social Media Coordinator manages the University’s social media platforms to support engagement, awareness, attraction and retention. Responsible for social media planning, analytics and reporting as well as content curating, the Social Media Coordinator champions a ‘centre of excellence’ model for internal stakeholders to provide advice, support and training in social media. The Social Media Coordinator provides support as required to the Media Team with social media response to crisis and issues communications.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in executing a social media plans that are aligned to the overarching marketing strategy– community managing and curating content for a number of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and SnapChat.
- Demonstrated ability to create content for social including excellent copy writing skills and great editorial judgement.
- Demonstrated understanding of user behaviour on social platforms; in-depth knowledge of changes and trends; and the impact of social media on communications.
- Advanced social analytics skills, and proven experience in hitting key social KPIs, such as social engagement and audience growth.
- Experience using social media management, listening, and reporting tools.
